Ice is a great subject source for my winter photographs. I don't plan it. It just happens. Ice is abundant this year so it's been interesting seeing all the variations of illumination and formation. Last night, I went to watch the sunset (again!) and only ended up with two shots of it. I was captivated by this "iceberg" heaved up onto it's side on the shoreline. As I was walking by it, I noticed how at just the right angle, it was illuminated in the the pink/purple color of the sky. So here you have it. A pink iceberg from the shores of Little Quitticas.
