Military keyword > ville > This is the compound wall that surrounded Camp Coiner in Seoul, Korea.  If a person wanted to live out in the ville all you needed was $5,000 (US) to rent an apartment similar to the one your see on the other side of the wall.  The landlord would then take your US bucks and invest it and live off the interest.  At the end of your stay in Korea and were ready to move on, the landlord would give you back the $5,000.  It was called "Key Money", but what E-4 had a spare 5 thousand bucks or would want their wife to live there? Forty years later things are much different and Seoul is an ultra modern city.
