Military keyword > marc > This was the scene on my arrival at USNTC BAINBRIDGE MD - Perryville MD Broad Street Railroad Depot (Night Time Arrival). This was the scene on my arrival on the Pennsylvania Railroad as we disembarked and boarded school buses to the USNTC Receiving Center to report for Boot Camp. After check-in with the barking sounds of commands, we hit the sack very late at night. Rudely awaken at the ungodly hour of 4:00 a.m. to the beating sound of clanging buckets and then herded to the showers where you would think you could take a nice hot shower. OH NO! This was not the case. They turned off the hot water, and we had to take FREEZING COLD showers. That was the scene for the first couple of days at the Receiving Center.
