The list was built from data obtained from the pc at the new visitor's center at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial and from the abmc website in July 2007. I gathered a bag of sand the day earlier on Omaha Beach and I rubbed some sand on the headstone so you can see his name and details better. Don't worry, it rained the same day and when I returned the next day all the sand was cleansed from the headstone.  Contact me if you would like original sand from Omaha or Utah beaches. Taken on July 20th, 2007.

Military keyword > engineers > This is one of the HHC 237th Engineer Battalion's 'water rats' truck - a water purification unit - that crashed into a private house front garden in Flein, Germany in 198? (probably 1984 - 1986). There were no injuries - just a damaged truck.
