The USS Dewey,DDG-105.The 3rd ship named after Admiral George Dewey.The Dewey is a Flight II A variant of the Arleigh Burke class Guided Missle Destroyer and incorperates a helicopter hanger facility into the original design.The ship can carry 2 SH-60B/R helicopters.The Dewey was announced 13 September 2003.The Keel was laid 04 October 2006 at Northrop Grumman Pascagoula.
