 > This group shot was put up by request from my old squadron, the mighty 12 ACCS! On our way out to an air exercise in Korea we broke down in Anchorage, AK for a week and what an amazing experience! Right before we left to depart our squadron commander wanted a picture of the group. I wanted to capture the jet, the crew, and the mountains in the background, which made it tough for me since the sun was directly facing off the nose of the jet. I noticed the melted snow by the nose gear and had a pickup truck pull over so I could stand on top to maximize the reflection. The sun provided a great hair light and with a little bit of photoshopping the picture came out quite well.
 > Opposite is SSgt Clint Yancey, this dude is always upbeat and a ton of fun to be around.
 > This is a shot of one of my favorite Mission Crew Commanders, (Ret.) Lt Col Jim Roman, a great guy and the absolute definition of old school. I was one of the first people off the rotator coming home and I positioned myself to capture everyone touching down back in the states for the first time in three months. There was a mix of a lot of emotions, but I really think the expression of indifference was captured perfectly here. You’ll see that in a lot of old dogs, like the Army Lt Col in the foreground to the left. I was starting to feel it too, which I took as my cue to leave the Air Force.
