Other prices: For 10 won you could buy a loaf of bread that has raisins in it and icing on the top.

For 10 won I got packages of ramen and sometimes cooked them on our kerosene space heaters using my field mess kit.

The neighborhood buses were like VW vans: you cannot stand up in them. They always made sucking noises because they always removed the air cleaner, for some reason.
They had a girl who made change. The change was in pre-wrapped packages of bills. She could tell by the shape that she was giving you the correct package of change.
She would have a coat of many pockets and the different packages were also segregated by pocket.
